The Sixes

The card of the Lovers depicts a choice between two apparent opposites. The Sixes depict four expressions of what such choices may lead to. Choices – decision you make every day – guide your progress in unexpected ways. The Sixes show you what you can expect when they appear in your readings.

As with the Lovers, the Sixes reflect emotional involvement with your question and with potential outcomes of your current situation. You will notice the tension in these cards that comes from a bit too much of a good thing.

Wands

The Six of Wands represents the capacity for music, art, drama because these are creative arts inspired by your intuition. You have the choice to pursue your ambition energetically. When you see this card, know that your personal magic involves imagining what you want clearly and then asking for it forthrightly. There is a tendency to be fickle or somewhat indecisive too.

Coins

The six of Coins represents the capacity for celebration. You have all that you need, that is for sure, and you are in the position to help others if you so choose. The choice to use your material goods generously is yours to make – the symbols of faith, hope and charity are balanced by symbols for less constructive desires.

Swords

The Six of Swords represents the capacity for waste. Often, too many thoughts keep you from bringing ideas to conclusion and forming a useful plan. The choice to ‘cross the water’ is a choice to look into your heart and think deeply about the direction you will choose.

Cups

The Six of Cups represents the capacity for friendship and generosity. On the one hand you have the childlike capacity for sharing. On the other you may have doubts about how you will replenish after you have given things away. Seek simplicity, as the best answer often is the most basic.
